Trusting God with the Unknown: A Season-End Reflection

As Season 4 of The Trailblazer Talks Podcast comes to a close, I want to pause and reflect with you. This year has stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. And if you're finding yourself in a space of waiting, wondering, or releasing control, you’re not alone.

This episode is a quiet invitation to trust God more deeply, especially when the next steps feel blurry.

The Beauty of a Pause

After one full year of running my business and this podcast full-time, I’m learning the value of rest. Not as a reward, but as a way to reset. This summer, I’m taking a short break to breathe, be present with my people, and let God speak into what’s next.

We don’t have to wait until burnout to rest. Sometimes rest is the most obedient thing we can do.

Trusting Without a Timeline

If you're anything like me, you love a good plan. I find comfort in structure and timelines. But lately, God has been gently showing me the pressure I place on myself to figure everything out. I've been challenged to hold my plans more loosely.

Trusting God doesn’t mean you stop caring. It means you stop carrying what isn’t yours to hold.

Obedience Doesn’t Always Look Certain

I’ve been thinking about Moses lately. He didn’t have all the answers when God called him. He questioned his ability. He wrestled with fear. And yet, God still used him to lead. Not because Moses had a perfect plan, but because he kept showing up.

That’s what I’m trying to do. Keep showing up. Keep trusting. Keep leaning into grace when the outcome is unclear.

What This Year Taught Me

This first full year of entrepreneurship has been both beautiful and refining. There were months where I was fully booked, and others where I wondered if I needed to go back to a traditional job. I’ve had to quiet the voice of fear more than once.

But through it all, God has been so near. His provision may not always come early, but it is always on time.

Looking Ahead to Season 5

I’m so excited for what’s ahead. I’ve brought on support to help with the podcast, and I’m dreaming of ways to serve you more deeply, through writing, teaching, and creating resources that equip you to walk confidently in your calling.

Season 5 will return in August. Until then, I hope this summer gives you space to breathe, reflect, and stay rooted in truth.
